I am very excited to be able to participate in this years Kiawah Island half marathon to raise money for First Flight Alliance / Operation Active Kids. This is a great opportunity to participate in building a healthy community. Operation Active Kids is a non profit that helps to pay for children to participate in recreational and educational activities that their families can not afford to pay.
First Flight Alliance/ Operation Active Kids mission is to inspire first steps that grow stronger, healthier communities! With the help of an amazing volunteer network, they are able to do this by offering a platform rooted in growth and positioned in running to bring running camps, events, community education, and scholarships and equipment to children in our community to be active.
