I am excited to participate in the 38th Annual Ben to the Shore, which supports the Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to improving the lives of children in the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey area.   

It is hard to believe but this is the 14th time I have made this ride.  I ride in memory of Police Officer John Pawlowski, who was killed in the line of duty in Philadelphia on February 13, 2009.  This foundation does transformative work for families of fallen first responders and in improving relationships between police officers and youth in the communities they serve.  I am proud to have been a part of it since 2010.
