The Nyack Fire Department is made up of 6 fire stations which houses 8 fire apparatus, 1 marine unit, and the high-angle rescue team.
Nyack Fire Department and it's larger fire district manages these operations. The District is administrated by 5 publicly elected commissioners, who oversee the annual budget, including apparatus maintenance, fire station maintenance, firefighting equipment purchase & maintenance, as well as OSHA & NFPA compliance.
