I'm fundraising for Race for the Light 25' to support Lumen Vitae’s mission of providing education, meals, and a brighter future for children in Haiti! I helped fundraise two years ago with some friends, raising $33,000. It was a fun experience, both bringing friends together for a friendly competition, and also bringing hundreds of people all over America together, because we were all united in the same goal: to change the future of kids in Haiti. My parents, as well as close family friends, have traveled to Haiti and know firsthand the problems and issues the people of Haiti, especially the children, face concerning basic needs, like food and education. Your donation will help sponsor more children for the next academic year, improve nutrition, and enhance after-school programs, including access to computers. We are so blessed in this country and do not have to fight for our basic needs. Bless others and make an impact!
