Four years ago, we lost Jing's father to a very aggressive sarcoma.

Every year, we run to raise funds for SFA to help support sarcoma research. Soft-tissue tumors make up 1% of cancers, and because of these low numbers, it is less researched than carcinomas. 

We hope that with more funding, we can find more efficient and effective methods in treating this horrible disease. We hope that other families will never have to see a loved one go through this adversity.

A huge shout out to SFA and Race to Cure Sarcoma events. Because of YOUR SUPPORT, SFA has invested over $20 million in sarcoma research, funding over 200 grants in 12 countries leading to close to 200 total publications, adding to the sarcoma research discourse. This has led to more funding, more clinical trials, and patents. Your investment in this run, is an investment in saving lives.
