Women and Girls Education International is participating in the Edison to India 5K Dash-or-Dally event as team "WAGEing Our Way," to help create greater access to high-quality, compassionate healthcare for India’s underserved rural and urban communities. All the funds we raise will directly support the charitable activities of the Christian Medical College & Hospital of Vellore (CMC), in South India.

Our goal is to raise at least $500. Every dollar will support life-saving care for those who need it most. CMC is also a champion for education - you will definitely want to read the story of founder, Ida Scudder!

Whether it's a child in a rural village or a family living in an urban slum, your financial support will help CMC deliver the care they desperately need.
