At The Circle of Vietnamese Parents, our mission is to empower and uplift Vietnamese-speaking families of children with disabilities by providing the resources, education, and advocacy needed to navigate the complexities of healthcare, education, and social support systems. We are committed to preserving cultural values while fostering inclusivity, understanding, and empowerment. Through our work, we aim to create a community where families are equipped to advocate for their children, break down barriers to access, and ensure that every child with a disability receives the care, respect, and opportunities they deserve.
Every donation we receive plays a direct and meaningful role in supporting our mission. Funds raised help us:
1) Provide Culturally Responsive Support: We offer services in Vietnamese and ensure that families receive information and advocacy that respects their cultural values and language.
2) Educate and Empower Caregivers: Funds help us run workshops and training sessions for parents and caregivers, equipping them with tools to navigate IEPs, DDS services, school systems, and healthcare options.
3) Support Youth Development: We create programs that focus on life skills, social development, and inclusion for youth with autism or disabilities, helping them thrive in school and in the community.
4) Offer Guidance: Donations allow us to provide direct assistance and case management, guiding families through complex systems.
5) Build a Stronger Community: Your contribution helps us hold community events, support groups, and peer networks that reduce isolation and build connection among families facing similar challenges.
