Project Hero is deeply grateful and honored to once again be a charity partner of the 2026 Bourbon Burn. This partnership means more to us than words can express. Thanks to the incredible Bourbon Burn community, more than $30,000 has been raised collectively over the years, directly supporting wounded veterans and first responders on their journey to recovery. We are truly thankful to stand alongside an event that shares our commitment to service, community and impact.
Hundreds of thousands of veterans and first responders live with wounds, both visible and invisible. Project Hero exists to serve these healing heroes, using cycling as a powerful tool for rehabilitation, connection and renewed purpose. Every dollar raised through the Bourbon Burn allows us to continue providing life-changing, rehabilitation programs to those who have sacrificed so much.
Our 2026 Goal
This year, our goal is to raise $20,000 through the 2026 Bourbon Burn. Reaching this milestone will allow Project Hero to bring wounded veterans and first responders to local and national programs where they receive the therapeutic cycling support they need to heal, physically, mentally and emotionally.
From building and donating adaptive bikes to producing cycling events nationwide, supporting community-based recovery programs and advancing medical and clinical research, Project Hero is raising awareness of the national PTSD and mental health crisis while making a real, measurable difference in the lives of our healing heroes, their families and their communities.
