In December 2023, I heard the word "sarcoma" for what I believe was the first time. It was a very anxious time for my family and me having been told before my first surgery, that the lumps on my leg were simply dermoid cysts. As a result of that biopsy and sarcoma diagnosis, I was referred to The James. Following the meetings with my care team, I knew I was where I needed to be and was confident that I was in the best hands possible. After 28 radiation treatments, two additional surgeries and several months of physical therapy, the word "sarcoma" is now just a normal word in our family's vocabulary. I am so grateful for my sarcoma care team "family". May 2026 will mark my 2-year post surgery which is a huge milestone for me!
I am committed to fundraising for sarcoma research so that others living throughout the world can benefit from the same level of care and expertise which I have experienced. Please join me and Team Tucker in helping to fund research for a cure for sarcoma. Thank you for your support!!
