YOUR DONATION IS MUCH APPRECIATED by the Coronado Optimist Foundation, a 501.c.3 organization All foundation funds are used to support a variety of youth programs for the youth of Coronado. The Optimist Club's motto, "Friend of Youth' truly represents our mission. We support character development, building of confidence and self-esteem, and sponsor awards that are of great value to recipients while providing inspiration to others. It is our profound hope that every student that graduates from schools in Coronado will have memorized at least one of the 10 tenets of the Optimist Creed, something of value to recall throughout his/her life in good times and challenging times. One example is: "Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others." Another: "Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future." We value the support our club has received from Coronado since our founding in 1970.
