2025 Race Registration IS OPEN!!!

On Saturday, September 6th, the Fox Chapel Parks Conservancy, in partnership with O’Hara Township, will host a community fun run through our scenic parks and trails. This inclusive, family-friendly event is a celebration of health, wellness, and local connection, encouraging neighbors of all ages to enjoy the outdoors together.

Course Information

1-Mile Fun Run

A gentle loop through O’Hara Township Community Park, followed by a short out-and-back on the Salamander Trail alongside the Sycamore Run River—a perfect route for participants of all ages and experience levels.

5K Run

Begins with the same park loop and trail section, then continues up the Salamander Trail for a full loop around Salamander Park, returning through O’Hara Township Park for a final lap around the lake.

For everyone’s safety, please no strollers or dogs on the course.

Community Activities

After the run, stick around for refreshments, music, kids’ activities, and local vendor booths. Meet your neighbors, visit sponsor tents, and enjoy a few surprises along the trails. All community members, friends, and families are welcome - whether you’re racing or cheering from the sidelines.

The morning kicks off with a lively pre-race gathering and the singing of the national anthem.

Parking instructions and final start times will be shared in the coming weeks.
We expect the 5K to begin at 730am and the family mile at 845am.

All proceeds directly support the work of the Fox Chapel Parks Conservancy, helping maintain and improve the local parks and trails in our communities.

Chip timing and live race results will be provided by Wolf Creek Race Management.
