Trail Conference 's National Trails Day Trail-A-Thon
Description
Step Up for Trail Lands — Get Ready to Move—Trail-A-Thon Is Back!
This year, we’ve reimagined Trail-A-Thon as a one-week challenge leading up to National Trails Day (June 6), designed to spark energy, visibility, and momentum around a shared outdoor experience. The shorter length makes it easier to stay involved, rally supporters, and celebrate our collective impact—all while raising essential funds for the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference and the vital work we do.
Whether you're a hiker, runner, biker, or neighborhood stroller, Trail-A-Thon is for YOU. Set your own mileage goal and raise funds* for the trail lands you love! Log your miles anywhere—on your favorite forest path, city streets, or even a treadmill.
Trail-A-Thon is a celebration of the trails we love—and a reminder of what it takes to protect them. Volunteers lead the way, but they depend on training, tools, and support from Trail Conference staff. As you log your miles, your fundraising helps cover the critical, behind-the-scenes work that keeps our trail lands healthy and accessible.
Where will your challenge take you?
Register today and help preserve tomorrow’s trail lands, one mile at a time.
Registration is now open! Need support with registration, viewing your profile or logging miles? Please check out our ‘how to’ guide for support.
*Participants are required to pay the remaining balance not raised if the $100 minimum is not fully met by the end of the challenge. Credit card information is being collected to be charged later to cover the difference if you do not meet the fundraising minimum requirements. Credit cards will not be charged until the day after the event.
