Donations are greatly appreciated and support children and adults with disabilities. Last year, Advocates:

- provided disadvantaged children with intellectual and developmental disabilities with sensory items, adaptive/medical supplies, and assistive technology not covered under insurance or special programs to improve their independence, stimulate mobility, and improve their fine motor delays through various grant resources
- offered specialized training for families throughout the year focusing on child developmental stages and supports, parenting strategies, mental health, community resources, and well-being
- provided recreational activities that include an annual picnic, movie days, tickets to Syracuse Mets and Syracuse Crunch games, an Advocates kickball league, a talent and art show, and an annual holiday party, all of which focus on the interests and talents of the individuals we serve
- supported over 100 people to live independently in their own homes with the support of their Mentors and
- provided Housing Navigation services by working with individuals and their families to develop and implement an individualized housing action plan.
