Anna was diagnosed with cancer in 2022 at the age of 26. While the months of radiation and chemotherapy healed the cancer, it also caused great damage to her healthy tissues and organs. She is now in need of specialized medical care to address the internal complications she is facing.
Unfortunately, local hospitals do not have the expertise to help Anna with the care that she so desperately requires. The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida was identified as one of the few hospitals in the country that can perform the procedures she needs.
Anna is in need of multiple separate specialized surgeries to repair the damage done to her bladder, colon, and lower abdomen. Costs to have these surgeries performed are considerable and the risks are substantial. She will need to travel to Florida with her husband for a minimum of one month for each of the surgeries. The prognosis with the surgery is good but the recovery period will be long. Anna’s family needs help covering the costs of accumulated medical bills, along with the necessary travel, food and lodging while she is at the Mayo Clinic.
We can’t cure Anna, but we can help ease the financial burden and resultant stress that she and her family are currently facing. Thank you so much for considering supporting Anna and her family.
