Hunters for the Hungry is a 501 (c) (3) charity whose mission is to provide donated venison to people in need. We have provided over 7.9 million pounds, over 31.7 million quarter-pound servings of lean meat since our program began in 1991. Our program fundraising and administration costs are only 14% of every dollar, which means 86% of all monies go toward program operation, which is primarily covering processing costs associated with the deer donated to our program which yields the venison we provide to food-banks, missions, churches, and pantries statewide. For every DOLLAR we raise or receive we can process and distribute over 3 quarter pound servings of high protein low fat red meat to men, women, and children who struggle with hunger!
