Art Love Collective

The arts challenge us with different points of view, compel us to empathize with “others,” and give us the opportunity to reflect on the human condition. Empirical evidence supports these claims: Among adults, arts participation is related to behaviors that contribute to the health of civil society, such as increased civic engagement, greater social tolerance, and reductions in other-regarding behavior.

Support Arts in our Community!

Give to Art Love Collective and help us continue to support artists and artist development in our community. As Lawrence's only local art gallery, we put artists first. 

How do we serve artists?

Art Love Collective provides Lawrence and NE Kansas artists a place to exhibit, sell, teach, learn, network, and grow. From providing professional development programs, mentorship, and support for emerging artists, to advancing the careers and opportunities of established artists, Art Love is a space for collaboration, growth, and creativity.

How do we serve the community?

The community benefits by having a beautiful retail space to buy great art from local artists, learn new creative skills in a nurturing environment, and attend events such as artist talks and demonstrations, Final Friday receptions, open mic nights, and more. Art Love is also working to provide community outreach, both within Lawrence and to rural area communities; spreading the beauty and joy of art appreciation and art creation to many with limited access to the arts.
