Event Description
Discover the magic of transforming raw wool into colorful, fluffy fiber! In this true beginner workshop, participants will learn the basics of wool carding and natural dyeing using all-natural, plant-based dyes from food scraps and nature. We’ll explore how fiber is prepared for spinning or felting and experiment with natural materials to create beautiful, earthy colors.
This relaxed, hands-on program is designed for beginners ages 7 and up and is perfect for curious kids, creative adults, and families looking to learn something new together, no prior experience needed. All children (under 16) must be accompanied by a paying adult. All materials are included, and everyone will go home with a small sample of their own naturally dyed wool.
