James A Pinaire III Foundation Comedy Night Fundraiser

In August 2014, Jaime Pinaire began his teaching journey at Robert Treat Academy, a charter K–8 school in Newark, NJ. He was passionate about helping students reach their full academic potential. Tragically, Jaime was killed in a car accident in December 2014 while returning home from Saturday classes and tutoring a student.

To honor his memory and continue his mission, the James A. Pinaire III Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was created. The Foundation is dedicated to supporting students with financial need by providing scholarship awards and promoting educational opportunities.
