Bio - Ken Imbusch
Ken Imbusch is a dedicated rugby professional with extensive experience in player development, coach education, and women’s rugby growth. As Women’s Development Lead with Munster Rugby, Ken leads programs that upskill players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally, guiding
them from grassroots and age-grade pathways to Munster senior squads and Ireland representation.
Ken has coached Interprovincial winning teams in both 7’s and 15’s, demonstrating a strong record of competitive success. He has designed and delivered age-grade pathways, specialist position programs, and excellence camps, integrating performance coaching, positional skills, and long-term player development strategies.
In addition to coaching and development, Ken has 20+ years of experience as a Domestic & Elite Match Official (IRFU National Panel), providing him with unique insight into game management, laws, and player performance under pressure.
Through his work, Ken has significantly contributed to growing girls’ rugby participation, establishing sustainable Regional Development Squads, and creating structured environments where players and coaches can thrive.
