SHARC Family Swim Day
The SHARC Family Swim Day Survival Guide
(AKA: The Happiest Place in Sunriver That Requires You to Pay Even If You're Just There for the Vibes)
Where: SHARC – the crown jewel of Sunriver, Oregon.
When: Family Swim Day, Sunday, July 13, 12–4 PM (that’s four glorious hours of aquatic chaos).
Admission: Yes. For everyone aged 4 and up. Yes, even if you're just spectating with a snack and a sunhat. Just like Disneyland: You pay whether or not you scream down the waterslide.
. Each family is responsible for their own admission.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
From the moment you step into SHARC, prepare to be wowed by enough chlorinated fun to make your hair smell like summer for a week. This isn’t just a pool. This is a water wonderland.
INDOOR ATTRACTIONS (Heated to 84° for maximum pruney skin potential):
-
Adult Hot Tub – Where parents pretend to relax while secretly planning dinner.
-
Lap Lanes – For the overachiever who can’t not get a workout in.
-
Zero Entry Pool – Like a beach, but without the sand in your shorts.
-
Tot Bubblers & Spinners – Also known as the “baby rave zone.”
-
Vortex Whirlpool – For swirling your children in a controlled cyclone.
-
Water Basketball & Volleyball – Where your last shred of dignity goes to drown.
OUTDOOR AQUATICS:
-
Body Slide & Tube Slide – Because nothing says "family bonding" like screaming down a wet tunnel at 30 MPH.
Height rules apply: No exceptions, not even for exceptionally tall toddlers. -
Lazy River – Finally, a ride that matches your parenting energy. Float like you mean it.
-
Water Jungle Gym – Guaranteed to tire out your small humans.
-
Tot Pool (Fenced!) – So your toddler can’t escape like a tiny wet bandit.
-
Lap Lanes, Hot Tubs, & Grassy Sunbathing Galore – Where you go to contemplate life choices and sneak a nap.
FEED ME, SHARC:
Hit up the SHARC Café to refuel with delicious poolside grub. Fries taste better after an hour of pretending you enjoy being splashed repeatedly by your own offspring.

FINAL TIPS:
-
Bring towels, sunscreen, water shoes, and patience.
-
Prepare to lose track of time (and maybe a flip-flop).
-
We will do our best to make a FLPW Reunion area on the grass for people to put towels, bags, etc.
-
Leave the pool, but never leave the memories.
See you at SHARC. May your swim day be splashy, sunshiny, and snack-filled!
