Family Jewels Kenmore Ball Crawl

The Family Jewels Foundation provides college scholarships to local families who have experienced the economic devastation that comes with childhood cancer, specifically focusing not on the child with cancer but on their siblings, who experience loneliness, fear and the sense of being left out when parents necessarily must focus on the sick child in the family.  They also experience the economic devastation that comes with childhood cancer, including when college savings must be used instead for expenses related to their sibling's medical care.   

Additionally, Family Jewels Foundation is bringing attention to the University of Washington Men's Health Fertility Preservation fund, which supports people with testicles who are being treated for cancer or other urologic issues to preserve their fertility*, which is expensive and typically not covered by insurance.  In this way, people are not forced to choose between life-saving treatment and having a family.
