This year, we would like to spotlight our Training and Behavior Modification Department.
It is a nationally-recognized team of dedicated animal trainers and behavior specialists that welcome hard-to-adopt pets, often transferred to our care from shelters across Colorado as well as other states. Many of these transfers would otherwise be euthanized, but our team spends time with each animal to identify issues to rehabilitate and prepare them to find their forever home! Longmont Humane Society cares for approximately 3,500 animals per year, and we celebrate reaching a 97% live return rate thanks in large part to our incredible Training and Behavior Modification Department!
Thank you for supporting our mission of caring, serving, and educating to improve the lives of companion animals.
