The KURO Network is an employee resource group within Hitachi Energy, established in 2023 to serve the needs of the vibrant and diverse Black community. Our mission is to promote a culture of diversity by cultivating an inclusive environment that amplifies the voices of Hitachi’s Black employees, while also focusing on attracting, retaining, and developing talent. We strive to foster opportunities for leadership, professional growth, mentorship, and networking.
One of our key priorities is to strengthen communities in Halifax County through meaningful contributions – such as donating items, supporting local nonprofits, and bringing resources to children and families in need.
As part of this commitment, we are excited to announce the 1st Annual KURO Network Golf Tournament on Friday, April 17, 2026. This event will raise funds for the Halifax County Cancer Association, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to fighting cancer in Halifax County Virginia through education, direct services and financial support to those affected by cancer.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a positive impact in our community while also supporting a fun and meaningful event.
Sincerely,
Josh Edmunds
