Lisa Martz Charity Golf Classic

Colorectal cancer affects both men and women and remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in the United States. The good news is that with recommended screening, colorectal cancer can often be prevented or detected at an early, more treatable stage. Rumpshaker, Inc. is committed to increasing awareness of the importance of colorectal cancer screening and supporting families whose lives have been impacted by the disease.

One way we carry out that mission is through the Lisa Martz Hope Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to college students in Alabama whose families have been affected by colon cancer. The scholarship recognizes that a cancer diagnosis can impact an entire family, and we hope to ease some of the financial burden while encouraging students as they pursue their education and future goals.
