Your Support in Action: Destination Madison Foundation

The Destination Madison Foundation is committed to making Greater Madison an unforgettable place to work, live and visit. By driving community enhancement through strategic initiatives—Placemaking, Welcoming, Developing and Enriching—it fosters a vibrant and thriving future for everyone.

The inaugural Rising Star Continuing Education Scholarship, which will be awarded to all 2026 Rising Star Award finalists at the Destination Madison Awards ceremony, is a brilliant example of our “Developing” pillar—which is dedicated to workforce development and career pathways in hospitality. In partnership with Madison College and the Madison College Foundation, donations to the Destination Madison Foundation will provide funding for finalists to attend continuing education courses that range from skill-building and technical training to leadership and management.

Here are just a few additional ways the Destination Madison Foundation has recently supported our community:

·       Madison Area Sports Commission: Youth Grant Program

·       Latino Academy of Workforce Development: Online Bilingual Hospitality Program

·       OPEN Foundation: TRANSFORM Program

·       Salt Cure Restaurant Recovery Fund: Aid to Minneapolis-based restaurants

The Destination Madison Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization, founded by Destination Madison in 2005. Guided by a Board of Trustees, it provides a means for accepting tax-deductible contributions to support the Strategic Plan of Destination Madison.
