Tip #3 - Lottery Tickets

We are a 100% volunteer department that averages over 175 calls per year, and yet our costs represent less than 1% of Beaver Borough’s budget. Our volunteers are called on to raise over $10,000 per year and we do so by hosting this one major fundraising event. The funds raised from the 5K/10K Race help us to purchase the necessary firefighting equipment needed for our volunteers to support not only the town of Beaver, but also our surrounding communities.

On top of the annual 5k/10k we have started selling tip board tickets for different items we buy then give away after the drawing is complete. 

Fundraising is non stop function of volunteers fire departments. Without it a lot of departments could not afford to survive. Please consider running/walking in our yearly 5k/10k, buy a ticket to a raffle we are doing or at a minimum please consider clicking this donation link and supporting the BVFD.
