The Trail Running Film Festival 2023

The Trail Running Film Festival is back on tour and coming to Winona, MN for a great night of films, inspiration, and community. You're invited to celebrate with us running as a universal practice. Come explore our collective and individual potential, and let's pursue our wildest dreams. 

We're excited to bring you stories from around the world by filmmakers sharing their work of adventure, inclusivity, wilderness, art, and diversity across the trail and ultra community.

Join us at the Winona History Center for an evening of films, friends, and fun! We will have appetizers along with a cash bar. There will be some great items on a silent auction along with a 50/50 raffle (bring cash for this) during intermission to help support The Storm Trail Race Series.

Silent auction will have trail running gear donated by TerraLoco, a pair of Twins tickets located in the Delta Club donated by Kraus-Anderson Insurance, a rock climbing retreat to Devil's Lake donated by RiverSide Integrated Solutions, kahtoola footwear traction devices donated by kahtoola and much more to be added!

The Storm Trail Race Series is a nonprofit trail race company that puts on events to encourage people to get outside and on the trails while raising awareness and money for local youth mental health programs. Since its inception in 2019, the organization has donated over $25,000 to local nonprofit organizations including Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center, Family & Children’s Center, and the Mini-Donut Foundation. 

General admission is $20 or choose the $25 ticket option and $5 of your ticket will be donated to The Trail Running Film Festival's Filmmaker Grant. This grant supports filmmakers in their work to document and explore our sport and is core to The Trail Running Film Festival's mission. Let's work together to make dreams a reality and tell compelling stories.

Films resume - Around 7:30 pm
