Funds are raised to cover the cost of the red beans and rice product and any other costs associated with the meal-packing portion of this event. We aim to pack 2,500 bags of Extra Full red beans and rice, which, with four servings per kit, is 10,000 meals! These meals will go directly to food pantries and soup kitchens in Vicksburg-Warren County.
