Event Description
The Community House of Moorestown and the Association of Fundraising Professionals, South Jersey are proud to host our second annual Nonprofit Summit. This event brings together organizations serving Burlington and Camden Counties for a morning of connection, collaboration, and actionable learning. It is designed to help nonprofit professionals, board members, funders, and community partners share ideas, resources, and strategies to tackle today’s pressing challenges.
Meet the Funders Panel Discussion
This panel brings together representatives from corporate and foundation funders to share insight into how funding decisions are made and what they look for in successful applications. The discussion will include current funding priorities, common mistakes nonprofits make when seeking support, and practical ways organizations can build relationships with funders.
Panelists include Tara Colton, Chief Economic Security Officer at the New Jersey Economic Development Authority; Rose Rodriguez, Senior Portfolio Manager, New Jersey at The Tepper Foundation; Dr. Dan Jurman, DMin, Executive Director of United Way of Gloucester County; and Stacey Woodland, Vice President, Impact of United Way of Greater PHLSNJ.

Lunch Panel Discussion:

Nonprofits are navigating a rapidly evolving environment shaped by changing donor expectations, new technologies, and shifting philanthropic landscapes. This panel of experts will discuss how forward-thinking organizations are adapting with new models, systems, and strategies.
