Information

In 2020 PATCH & Jack Garrett Ford teamed up and began putting on races in Spencer, WV to encourage the community to get out and get active. Walkers and runners answered the call and started racing on roads and trails, in sunshine and in snow.  Participants were asked to bring 5 canned goods as part of the entry fee.  RCHS "Take It From Us" students then collected the canned goods and began distributing them to low-income seniors.  At the "Spring Forward 5K" a gentleman donated $100 to help purchase food for seniors.  Going forward, the local community continued to donate, which sent total collections to over 1,500 canned goods and $500 in donations.

This online donation page is another step in growing the food drive and allowing for more deliveries.  It is also a way for those who cannot make it to our races to get involved.  Consider a recurring donation if you would like to support the food drive throughout the year.  Thank you for your support!
