Distance Running Scholarship
In Memory of Nancy Kapheim

Dear Applicant,

The  Cornbelt Running Club Scholarship is given in honor of Nancy Kapheim, president of the Cornbelt Running Club for nearly 20 years and assistant director of the Bix 7.  Nancy, an integral member of the local running community, sought the betterment of running and her community.

Regarding: Cornbelt Running Club Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $1,500 Recipients: 1 female and 1 male ($1,500 each, $3,000 total)

Duration: This is a one year scholarship.

Who: Any graduating senior planning to attend college is welcome to apply.

Intercollegiate Athlete: You are expected to participate at the intercollegiate level in cross-country and track (400 meters or above.)

CBRC Membership: Recipient does not have to be a member of the club. However, a member or the child of a member will receive preferential treatment.

Selection Process: 3 – 5 Finalists will be selected and possibly interviewed.

Due Date: April 15, 2025

Transcripts: An official sealed copy of your transcripts must also be submitted.
