Founded over 50 years ago, the Lynchburg Road Runners Club (LRRC) has been promoting a healthy lifestyle through running and race participation in the Greater Lynchburg, Virginia area. Your membership helps support our goal of fitness and fun through the activity of running. Fun runs, our annual race series, seminars, and the world-famous Moore & Giles Virginia 10 Miler are ways in which the LRRC makes a difference in our community. Runner Friendly Community
Lynchburg was the second city in the United States to earn the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) designation of a Runner Friendly Community back in 2011—and has proudly maintained that status ever since. This recognition highlights the city's ongoing commitment to supporting the running community through accessible routes, local events, and strong partnerships between runners, businesses, and local government.
