DONNA Mother’s Day 5K celebrates every Mom and returns in 2025 at the historic Friday Musicale in the Riverside area of Jacksonville, Florida. NEW this year, the UF Health Breast Center is bringing its popular Public Forum directed by Dr. Shahla Masood to the day’s festivities offering “What Everyone Should Know About Breast Health” over a free brunch immediately following the race inside Friday Musicale.
Schedule of Events
- 6:30 AM: Race Day Packet Pickup opens inside Friday Musicale
- 8:00 AM: Official Race Start on Oak Street
- 8:05 AM: Walkers and Strollers Start
- 8:30 - 10:30 AM: Post-race Survivorship Celebration in Athletes' Village
- 9:15 AM: Awards Ceremony in Athlete's Village
- 9:30 AM: Doors Open for the Breast Health Public Forum presented by UF Health | FREE, Registration Required
- 10:00 - 11:30 AM: UF Health Public Forum “What Everyone Should Know About Breast Health”

- Free, race day parking is available from the Fidelity National Financial Garage May Street entrance. Please park in a designated space and display a parking pass for entry. Download your parking pass (PDF) »
- A parking pass will be provided in all race bags.
- No printer? No problem! You can display the parking pass on your phone for entrance into the garage.
- IMPORTANT! The garage will close at 12 p.m., so please be sure to move your car after the post-race celebration or forum event!

- Free, race day parking is also available from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida parking garage located at 800 Forest Avenue. Parking passes are not required.
The 5K Course
Participants will experience the beauty of the Historic Riverside neighborhood, including the iconic architecture and gardens at the height of the spring blooming season.
Timing and Awards
All DONNA events are timed by DONNA partner 1st Place Sports.
Awards are given to top breast cancer survivors, top overall finishers, masters divisions and age group winners. Age group awards are awarded to the top three in each of the following male and female age groups: 10 & under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 & 80 and over.
