DIII Inlet Walk for Brain Cancer Research

Donation Goal: $35,000

All funds raised through this year’s Inlet Walk will support groundbreaking research led by Dr. Jay Storm and the team at the Center for Data Driven Discovery in Biomedicine (D3b) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Storm—Chief of Neurosurgery at CHOP, co-director of D3b, and a fellow Archmere Academy graduate—was a trusted guide and source of comfort to our family during our dad’s battle with glioblastoma. We’re proud to honor his memory by supporting the work Dr. Storm is leading. One day last spring when leaving Penn after an appointment, our Dad looked over at CHOP and commented, "I have brain cancer and am older...those little kids have a bigger fight and deserve every chance." Sadly, our Dad passed away two months after the discovery of his own glioblastoma this winter.

Your support helps advance bold, collaborative science and brings hope to families facing brain cancer. The DIII Inlet Walk is partnered with the Dragon Master Initiative, a 501c3 nonprofit supporting brain cancer patients and their families by advancing research through data sharing and innovation.

All funds collected by the DIII Inlet Walk will be directed to our charity partner, the Dragon Master Initiative for donation to the Center for Data Driven Discovery in Biomedicine (D3b) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

  1. Please feel free to donate directly to our Walk page on Dragon Master’s site.
  2. To mail a check, make payable to the Dragon Master Initiative, memo: DIII Inlet Walk and send to 15155 W. Colonial Drive, Winter Garden, FL 34778.
  3. To donate via venmo, please contact any McNichol family member.

Thank you all for your kindness and support this year. It means the world to us.
