All donations benefit Local Veterans and their families. More information can be found at www.gahannavets.org The Gahanna American Legion Post 797 is hosting the 4th Annual Walk In Our Boots walk/run 5K this Spring on May 2nd in Gahanna at Veterans Memorial Park at Creekside. This event helps us provide support for 100 previously homeless men and women veterans that currently live in a National Church Residence property exclusively available to homeless Veterans. Our Post has decided that we wanted to make a long term commitment and not just provide gifts for veterans on holidays but rather really work to partner with someone like NCR and become a long term, year-round partner to provide support for our local homeless Veteran population.
