This event serves as a fundraiser for the NK Smiles Scholarship Fund, named in honor and memory of the late Norm Kelly, Jr., a beloved elementary school teacher in the Rose Tree Media School District who passed away in August 2006 after a very courageous battle against cancer. He touched countless lives as an educator, youth lacrosse coach, and friend to many in the community. Each year a NK Smiles Scholarship is awarded to one male and one female Penncrest senior lacrosse player, as well as scholarships to students committed to careers in education.
The day is fun for the whole family -- boys and girls youth, high school, and Penncrest Alumni games, food, games, and music.
Donations support NK Smiles awarded to four selected Seniors at Penncrest High School, including a men's and women's player.
