Formerly a railroad bed, this once forgotten piece of nature has been brought back to life by a small group of dedicated volunteers. The current 12 1/2 mile section now provides hikers, bikers, and cross-country skiers a safe and scenic outlet for healthy exercise much needed to offset our sedentary lifestyles.  It will be awesome to connect with other trails and provide greater recreational opportunities! SWT has no paid staff and is maintained entirely by volunteers.
