The Shamrock Shuffle

The 5K Race is a chip-timed event designed to be completed by participants of various skill levels in under one hour. The course is a modified loop route around Union Centre Boulevard that keeps you near the Shamrock Shuffle Block Party festivities. Participants are asked to self-select at the Start according to finishing time, with walkers, dogs and strollers beginning in the 9:05 am wave. Prizes will be awarded to male and female winners. First 2000 finishers receive a race medal.

In order to allow families to enjoy the block party together, we will start all races (5K timed and untimed) at the same time. First 2000 finishers receive a race medal.

If a child wishes to participate they may start with the 9:05 wave without registering. These participants will not be timed, get a bib or shirt for the race or medal regardless of their finishing spot.

The Sleep In Special is for participants who want to support a charity or come for the Block Party but don't want to run. You'll still get a t-shirt and get to enjoy the block party but won't participate in the 5K. Does NOT include a race medal.

Ages 2-10 only

The Leprechaun Lap has been redesigned this year to allow kids ages 2-10 participate in a Fun Run. The participants will get to cross the actual finish line. Each child receives a participation ribbon, breakfast, and t-shirt. At 10:00 on race day, Leprechaun Lappers will report to the start/finish line for the race to begin.

This is for Team Captains wishing to create a Shuffle Gives Back team without registering for the race. You can register for the race at another time.
