5K & 10K Timed Run or a 1-mile Untimed Walk, Stroll, Skip, or Roll

Join Us for the Freedom Run/Walk – A Celebration of Strength, Hope & Seizure Freedom!

Celebrate Independence Day by taking action in the fight for seizure freedom! The Epilepsy Foundation of Hawaiʻi’s annual Freedom Run/Walk brings together families, friends, and community members to raise awareness and support those impacted by epilepsy.

When:

📍 Kailua High School – 451 Ulumanu Dr., Kailua, O‘ahu
⏰ Check-in begins at 5:30 AM | Race starts promptly at 7:00 AM

Choose your pace — professionally timed 5K/10K run, a 1-mile untimed walk, or gather your team for a fun and meaningful day outdoors. Whether you run, walk, roll, or stroll, every step helps bring us closer to a world free from seizures.

Since 1971, the Epilepsy Foundation of Hawai‘i has empowered local families with education, support, and advocacy. Your participation supports critical programs, including seizure first aid training, public awareness, and resources for families navigating epilepsy.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Hawaii is the only non-profit organization to serve over
15,000 individuals living with active epilepsy, and 2,000 are children. 

All race proceeds remain in Hawaii and help to fund local education and outreach programs, resources, and initiatives.
