Important Race Day Information
Place: The race will start and end in the parking lot of the Park Ridge Pool at 123 Colony Ave, in Park Ridge.
Time: The race will start at 8am. There will be a pre-race meeting at 7:45. The course time limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Number Pick Up: Numbers will be available for pickup from 4-6pm the day before the race (May 3rd) at 65 North Maple Ave, Park Ridge, NJ. Stop by and pick up your number to make your race day easier. If you aren’t local, number pick up will start at 7am on race day. You CAN pick up numbers for your family or friends. At this time you will also receive your race t-shirt if you registered before April 20th. You must pick up your number by the start of the race.
Parking: There will be parking in the Park Ridge Pool Parking Lot. It will be somewhat limited so please carpool or walk if possible! Overflow parking will be on the street so please plan accordingly.
Awards: Prizes will be given to the top participants in each of the age groups. Stick around after the race to see them given out!
Post Race Party: Fuel up after the race with free bananas, water, bagels, and more generously donated by Wegmans, Rockland Bakery, Stop and Shop, and A Little Cake. The Spine and Health Center of New Jersey will be providing post-run massages, and Jamik Ligon will be selling his book, "every runner, every day". Pascack Valley Medical Center will also be in attendance. There will be a DJ and great vibes!

Our Story
My name is Fiona Curran and I am organizing the Elephant Run 5K in memory of my grandparents, Barbara and Neil Curran. I sadly lost both of them to cancer and this race is to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dana-Farber provided excellent care to both my grandparents during their battles with cancer. With this fundraiser, I hope to advance cancer research and make a difference. If you are unable to participate in the event donations are very appreciated.
