Description
Join the Move Fast Run Club this month for a powerful virtual challenge that brings awareness to mental health. We’re running 46 miles in 30 days—one mile for each percentage point representing the 46% of Americans who will experience a diagnosable mental illness in their lifetime. Together, we’re breaking the stigma and showing that it’s okay to talk about mental health.
This is more than just a run; it’s a movement. By participating, you’re helping to raise awareness, support those affected by mental health struggles, and take a stand against the silence and shame often surrounding mental health challenges. Whether you’re an experienced runner or just starting out, each mile you complete helps spark important conversations and show that we are all in this together.
We have partnered with NAMI-NYC and through this challenge hope to raise funds which will be donated to them to support the crucial work they do for the mental health community. You can learn more by checking out the links below!
Speaking of NAMI-NYC... Want a shot at the NYC Marathon? Here is your chance! Rack up the most miles for the month and a bib is yours.(Race Fees and Fundraising requirements still must be met by the recipient)

How it Works!
The rules are simple! Through the month of May you will look to rack up a total of 46 miles running from where ever in the world you are. Hit your 46? Keep going! Do it with your run club, your family, friends, pets! Road miles? Count em! Trails? Count em! Treadmill? Count em! After each day you will manually input your "results" along with an image of your watch, Strava, etc from the run that day! This virtual challenge is about community and shining light on this very important cause. We hope that we can inspire conversation and run out stigmas! We look forward to seeing all the miles from all over!
Fundraising
Upon registration you will be prompted to become a fund-raiser. Fundraising is not a requirement for participation. We want to give the opportunity to as many people as we can to make as big of an impact as possible! There are no minimum requirements, no fees, just good vibes and outrunning stigmas!

By registering for fundraising you will be able to create your own unique link for donations. Share it with friends, family, coworkers! Add it to your social! Wherever you feel fit. Let them know you’re participating in this challenge and the cause we are supporting :)
Results
Being a virtual race you will be responsible for inputting your "results." This is all about raising awareness, showing support as a community and having some fun while doing it! Go out set some PRs, new times, new distances! No matter what you do- We are proud of you and are so glad you are here for this ride! When submitting your results. Please submit a picture your run stats as well! You have the option input media!

Step 1: Click Results
Step 2: You will be prompted to this page- Click Submite Virtual Results
Step 3: Type in your name- Click Look up and follow the prompt
Step 4: Input the date for your run- the distance of your run- run time.
You can submit more than one run in a day. You can also submit a run for a previous day.
