The 34th Annual Egg Nog Jog 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, December 19, 2026 at 10:00 am in the Mt. Adams community of Cincinnati, OH

Join us for this annual holiday tradition. The scenic and challenging course begins on Jerome St. and winds through Mt. Adams and Eden Park offering spectacular views of the city.

Distance:

5 Kilometers (5K) or about 3.1 miles. There are Running and Walking divisions.

Run Divisions:

15/under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. Overall, Masters, Grand Masters.

Walk Divisions:

Walk Divisions: 29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over

Chip Timing:

This year's race will be accurately "chip timed" using MyLaps Bib Tag technology. No need to return timing chips!

Awards:

Top Male and Female runners and walkers. Top male and female masters (40 and over), Top male and female grand masters (50 and over), and top in each age division. Awards ceremony following the race. Note: Overall Winner awards are based on Gun Time. Age Group winners will be based on Chip Time. There will be a separate walk start. 

Finisher Medals:

Custom finisher Medals. Limited quantity. While supplies last. 

After the Race:

Join us after race for the Awards Ceremony, Egg Nog, Food, Drink and Fun.

Early Packet Pick up:

Packet Pick will be on Friday December 18, 2026 from 3pm-6pm at Fleet Feet Sports in Oakley located at 3235 Madison Rd Cincinnati, OH 45209.  513-321-7555. Please bring your confirmation to packet pick up.

Fleet Feet is offering a 20% discount on all apparel items for race participants during the packet pick up.

Parking:

There is plenty available parking for race. However, come early to get the best spot! Monastery, Wareham, Elsinore, Mt. Adams Drive (playhouse) etc. check course map to locate these streets. Further details on our FAQ page.

We are looking for some volunteers for the course. If you know of anyone, let us know. A race t-shirt to each.

Once again, this year's event will be timed by Running Time Race Services using MyLaps Disposable bib tags. The chip will be on the bib number. No need to turn in pull tags or return the timing chip. Check out the short video to show the proper way to wear your Bib #.
