Not at all! This is a fun run, participants are encouraged to run, walk, dance, strut, or roll at their own pace.

No, you don't need to be in drag to participate in the run. People last year wore everything from speedos to wigs to full drag outfits - we want everyone to feel welcome! While dressing up is strongly encouraged, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and have fun in a way that feels authentic to you.

Yes! You can sign up for the virtual 5K and complete it anytime during the month of June, wherever you are.

This event is event is 21+ only.

Packet pickup will take place at Fleet Feet Upper Arlington from June 15–28 during regular business hours. You can also pick up your packet on event day before the race.

Registration fees and fundraising support Stonewall Columbus’ programs and operations, with a portion of proceeds also supporting local drag initiatives through our partner at the Greater Columbus Arts Council.

The Stonewall Columbus parking lot will be closed the day of the event. There is a city owned lot accross the street but has a limited number of paid spots and there are also street parking around the Short North. All spots can be paid through the ParkMobile app. We strongly encourage participants to carpool or take an uber. If you are planning to drink at the event, please DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!

Light refreshments and water will be available at no cost. Additionally, food trucks will be on-site offering a variety of meal options for purchase.e will be light snacks and water provided, there will also be food trucks on sight that are guests can pay for something more substantial.

For the safety of all attendees and participants, pets are not permitted at this event. The outdoor conditions and potential heat may pose risks to animal health and comfort.

Restroom facilities will be available at  Stonewall Columbus. While participating businesses along the race route are not required to provide public restroom access, several establishments will have facilities available.

We recognize that not all attendees may wish to participate in the fun run. While the fun run is a featured event, guests are welcome to attend the block party separately. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to ensure entry. Limited on-site ticket sales will be available, but these are subject to venue capacity restrictions.

There will be no designated storage area for personal belongings at this event. Participants are advised to plan accordingly and arrive prepared. Each attendee is responsible for their own items and should keep them secure at all times.
