Course Monitor High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

We need course monitors to stand along the race course to cheer on runners and ensure they stay on the correct course. There will be two people at each location so bring a friend (and let us know there are two of you). Must be able to drive to the location.

Location

White Rock Lake Trail on east side of the lake. You will be emailed your assigned spot the week of the race.

Water Stop Angels High Priority

Details

Handing out water to runners. Keeping cups available to runners as they pass by. Support and encourage runners with your loudest voice :-). You are welcome to play music and have fun with it!
Children are always welcome to help under adult supervision.

Handing out water, fiinisher medals an directing athletes through the area. Children are welcome to help out while under supervision of an adult.

Party Maintenance Medium Priority

Details

Circulate the event grounds, keeping an eye on the trash bins. If a bin is full, remove the bag, replace with a new liner, and take the filled bag to the large trash container on the side of Winfrey Point.

Packet Pickup at Playtri before the Race High Priority

At least 28 more volunteers needed.

Details

Assist in handing out race packets, bibs, and t-shirts to runners in advance of the race day. These times are generally during the day. Sign up here, and you will receive the link to the various 2-2.5 hour shifts occurring on Mon-Wed between 11-7.

This encompasses a variety of roles including roles such as raffle ticket sales, beer ticket sales, helping food sponsors serve food and more. We may also use folks from here to back fill roles that do not fill up.
