Responsibilities

Distribute Gear: Hand out the correct pre-assembled bib packet, safety pins, and the exact t-shirt size requested. (Please note: shirt size swaps are not permitted).

Direct Inquiries: If someone wants to register or has a question you cannot answer, immediately direct them to the Race Director.

Responsibilities

Direct Inquiries: If a runner has a complex issue or wants to register on-site, immediately direct them to the Race Director.

Responsibilities
Morning Setup Support: Greet sponsors and vendors as they arrive, guide them to their designated booth spaces, and provide physical help unloading vehicles or setting up tables.

Regular Check-Ins: Periodically check in on booth hosts throughout the morning to answer questions, assist with minor logistics, or help troubleshoot setup needs.

Liaison to Race Director: Act as the main point of contact for vendor needs, relaying any major requests or power/space issues directly to the Race Director.

Responsibilities
Guide Runners: Stand at a key turn or intersection to ensure runners stay on course.

Safety & Traffic: Alert drivers that a race is in progress and ask them to pause for oncoming runners.

Communicate: Use your cell phone to report any incidents or medical needs to Race Management.

Cheer: Keep energy high with clapping and encouragement!

Clean As You Go: Use rakes and brooms to clear dropped cups off the street to prevent slipping hazards.

Responsibilities
Flexible Performance Style: We welcome solo singers, vocal groups, or musicians playing an instrument (such as guitar, brass, or strings).

Coordinate Details: Once you register for this volunteer slot, the Race Director will reach out to schedule a quick call to coordinate logistics, sound setups, and performance timing.

Yes, You Can Still Run! If you want to perform and run the race, you can absolutely do both. Volunteers will gladly collect your instrument right after the anthem and store it safely until you cross the finish line.
