The United Way of Jefferson County Day of Action is more than a volunteer event—it is a movement that brings our community together to LIVE UNITED and create real change across Jefferson County.

Each year, individuals, businesses, schools, churches, and organizations come together to put compassion into action by volunteering their time and talents to strengthen the building blocks of a better life: education, financial stability, and health.

Day of Action is about neighbors helping neighbors. It’s about rolling up our sleeves and making a visible impact in the communities we call home. Whether it’s supporting local nonprofits, helping families in need, beautifying community spaces, assisting seniors, or creating opportunities for children to thrive, every project completed represents hope in action.

This day reflects the mission of United Way year-round—to unite people, resources, and passion to improve lives throughout Jefferson County. As the needs in our community continue to grow, so does the importance of coming together and reminding one another that change happens when we stand united.

Sign-in begins at 8:00 a.m., with breakfast served at 8:30 a.m. before volunteers head out into the community to make a difference.
