Come join us for our 2026 Athens Alabama Haunt Walk! We're so glad to have you!

This tour is based off the book The Spirits of Athens by local author Shane Black. It tells the spookier side of real Athens history.

WALKING tours cost $20+ fees  per person and are at 7 and 7:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays

WAGON tours cost $45+ fees per person and are at 6:30pm on Tuesdays

Know before you go:

Pets, except service animals, are NOT permitted!

There are NO walk-in tickets available. You must order through this site.

The walks will be about 90-120 minutes long and are about a mile

Please meet in the tourism office meeting room downstairs (100N Beaty Street) 15 minutes prior to your tour time.

These walks are exciting but not too spooky for little ones

Each walking tour can host 30 people, so buy your tickets early

Each WAGON tour can host 8 people.

Please dress for the weather. Please use ponchos or raincoats, not umbrellas

Children must be accompanied by an adult
