Guest Speaker 

Laura Sheridan is an experienced ultrarunner, mother of two active teenagers, and business owner.  She was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada but has called Cape Girardeau, Missouri home for over 25 years.  Laura has completed  (at least) 18 ultramarathons including Desert Solstice Invitational in Phoenix, Kettle Moraine 100, and the World 24-hour Championships in 2023 and 2025.  She believes that life in sport shouldn't stop when you become a parent/full-time employee/"grown-up".  Participating in sports as an adult gives you personal value, discipline, and health benefits and is so very important for the younger generations to witness.
