Yes. The historic Trap Bar provides a one-of-a-kind concert experience and due to its size, tickets are extremely limited. A festival pass is not required to attend late night shows but a separate ticket is.
Yes. In the event you are unable to make it, you may transfer your ticket, campsite and/or parking pass to someone else directly through the TicketSignUp app or website.

Yes, you must reserve camping in advance. Camping will not be sold onsite. Camping is sold along with Festival tickets through the TicketSignUp platform.
Yes. There is a 3 night lodging minimum for Targhee Fest. Lodging reservations will be available beginning on December 1, 2025.
No. Camping locations in each zone are first-come, first-served only. If you want to camp next to someone specific, please book the same zone and plan to caravan to the resort together so you are in line for camping together. We cannot guarantee camping spots next to certain people and campsite will not be held.
We are focused on providing the maximum number of campsites for the festival. Please help us with this by abiding by the max numbers of guests and vehicles.
IMPORTANT: For each campsite spot reserved, there are a maximum number of guests/vehicles allowed. If the maximum number of guests/vehicles are exceeded for a site, an additional campsite will need to be reserved.

Trailer and vehicle used to tow count as one. Personal vehicles count as a separate unit.
20x65, 20x40, and 20x30 sites allow only ONE camper or RV, the second vehicle may not be a second camper towed behind a vehicle or another RV.
Note: Our Meadow camping sites are not leveled and have a dirt access road. It is the responsibility of the camper to assess safe access/exit to and from their site. Should any vehicles need assistance to remove themselves from the area, the camper will be responsible for contacting a tow truck service. Grand Targhee Resort is not responsible for towing vehicles out.
All camping areas open for entry Thursday 7.9.26 at 12:00PM MST.
Please note, 2 Day Parking Passes are not included in "camping areas." All 2 Day Parking Passes are valid beginning on 7.10.26.
If you booked a site, you will receive an email confirmation with a QR code. Please have this ready and available for check-in. The same QR code will be used to check in each person in your party and wristbands issued (up to the amount of allowed guests listed above). Please try to arrive with your entire party, additional vehicles will not be allowed in to drop items off at a campsite.
- As you approach the entrance to Targhee, those with camping passes will be directed to line up in the Lot 4 Loop on the south end of the resort. Staging area/queue will open at 3:00pm on 7.8.26.
- You will be checked in there and then instructed to drive down towards the camping area.
- Please follow instructions from our camping and parking team as they direct you to your designated camping location.
- You may check-in any time after 12:00PM on Thursday 8.9.26. Check-out time is 11:00AM on Sunday 7.12.26.
All parking passes are for 2 days of Festival Parking beginning at 8:00am on 7.10.26. If you purchase a 2-Day Festival Parking Pass, sleeping in your vehicle is permitted as long as your vehicle is 18' or under. You do not need to leave each day and come back.
If you purchased a parking pass, you will receive an email confirmation with a QR code. Please have this ready and available for check-in.
If you have NOT purchased a 2-day parking pass, there will be NO ON-SITE PARKING for the festival. There will be FREE parking at TETON HIGH SCHOOL (Map Here) with shuttles running regularly to and from the parking lot. Overnight parking at the high school will NOT be allowed.
IF YOU SHOW UP TO GRAND TARGHEE WITHOUT A PARKING PASS, YOU WILL BE TURNED AROUND AND ASKED TO PARK AT THE HIGH SCHOOL.
Camping includes up to three nights of camping beginning on Thursday 7.9.26 with check-out on Sunday 7.12.26. Each site will have a limit to the number of people and vehicles allowed (see above). If your party exceeds the limit, please book additional sites to accommodate your group. Unused nights will be forfeited and may not be transferred to another guest.
No. If you book camping or lodging you do not need to purchase an additional 2-Day Festival Parking Pass unless you will have more than the vehicle quantity allowed.
Pets are strongly discouraged for the safety of guests and pets themselves. If you were unaware of our policy, and do not have any other options for your pet, please respect the following:
- Pets are permitted in the parking lots only and must be kept in the owner's vehicle when not being walked on leash. Please make sure your pets are safe and comfortable during the festival. We do not want to cause a nuisance with other guests attending the festival.
- We strongly recommend that pets not be left unattended in vehicles. It gets hot at Targhee in July and the elevated heat inside a closed vehicle can be extremely harmful to pets.
- Pets are NOT allowed in the festival venue, tent camping areas or in the Plaza area, excluding service animals.
- Pets are NOT permitted to run loose nor are pets to be secured outside of any vehicle when the owner is not present.
- Emotional Support Animals will be subject to the same policies as pets.
No. There is no power available in any of the camping venues.
Yes, there will be a bank of showers on site near the campgrounds in Lot 3.
No. In order to manage the security of our campground guests, you must have a camping wristband to access any of the camping areas.
No open fires are allowed. Gas grills and stoves are ok. Use of grills and stoves is subject to change based on fire regulations.
No. Pool access during the festival is only available for lodging guests.
Anyone who purchased a camping pass is welcome to camp at the festival. However, there are no official quiet hours and noisy neighbors are common. Please be respectful of those around you and try to limit any late night noise.
Grand Targhee Resort offers multiple options for food and beverages during the festival. Inside the music venue, take advantage of the food court, hosting multiple food trucks and pop-up food options plus beer, wine and liquor vendors.
Not inside the music venue? No problem. Visit Snorkel's Cafe for your morning coffee and pastries, the Powder Cache for a full-service restaurant experience serving breakfast (Fri. - Sun. only), lunch and dinner, the world-famous Trap Bar for afternoon/evening drinks and bar menu or the General Store for quick sundries and snacks.
You may bring food into the venue as well as empty water bottles and sealed plastic bottles. Open containers and outside alcohol are prohibited. Water fill stations are available inside the venue, in the campgrounds and in the resort base area. Food and beverages purchased inside the venue are permitted outside the venue.
All in-music venue outlets accept cards ONLY. Food & Beverage and Retail outlets outside of the music venue MAY accept cash. Merch, parking and camping will not accept cash.
The music venue will open Friday, July 10th at 3:00PM and Saturday, July 11th at 12:00PM.
No. We kindly ask that you please remove your items from the venue each day at the end of the day. Grand Targhee is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to items. Items left overnight will be collected and sent to the Lost & Found.
The weather at Targhee is incredibly wide ranging and can change rapidly. We advise that anyone attending the festival should be prepared for warm days and cold nights. Rain (or even snow) is always a possibility, so please prepare. A rain jacket, warm layers, sunscreen and bug spray are a good place to start when packing for the festival.
Yes, chairs and shade tents are allowed. But we have sections where each of these types of seating arrangements should be. Please follow in-venue signage directing you to these locations. If you have umbrellas or shade tents, please use the back of the festival so you do not obstruct other’s views. If you have high back chairs, the middle section of the festival is best. The front area is reserved for standing room. Please be as respectful of your festival neighbors as possible! We will have maps available at the show that outline these seating designations.
Yes! There will be multiple water stations to fill up during the festival. Feel free to bring an empty water bottle to fill at the campground, in the resort base area or inside the music venue.
Yes, there is limited handicap parking available. We will do our best to accommodate given our limited parking spaces. Please be aware that the terrain around the festival grounds is rocky, muddy and potentially difficult to navigate. We will do our best to accommodate everyone’s’ needs, but there are limitations to what we are capable of facilitating.
All festival patrons with mobility disabilities are welcome and will be accommodated at Targhee Fest. A limited amount of hard-surface, wheelchair accessible in-venue viewing space will be available upon request.

Grand Targhee is still fully operational during the festival. If you want to mountain bike, hike, eat at one of our restaurants, or play some disc golf, you are more than welcome to. The lifts are open for scenic chairlift rides at 9am and the bike park opens at 10am. The lifts close at 5pm.
