The 38 Strong Challenge is an empowering 38-day fitness and fundraising campaign leading up to the 3rd Annual TJ Carrie 5K Heart Warrior Run/Walk on June 28, 2025. Inspired by former NFL player TJ Carrie’s jersey number (38) and his personal journey overcoming open-heart surgery, this challenge encourages participants to build strength, resilience, and community support for Heart Warriors everywhere.

Participants commit to completing 38 miles over 38 days through running, walking, biking, swimming, or any form of physical activity. Whether done individually or as part of a team, every mile contributes to raising awareness and critical funds for the TJ Carrie Foundation’s heart health programming, including:

Preventative heart screenings
Hospital visits and care packages for young patients
Camp Carrie, a free retreat for children with heart conditions and their families

How It Works
1. Sign Up: Register online and receive a personal fundraising page to track your progress.

2. Complete 38 Miles: Log your miles from May 21, 2025, to June 27, 2025 — any activity counts!

3. Raise Funds & Awareness: Share your journey on social media using the hashtag #38Strong. Encourage friends and family to support your efforts.

4. Celebrate at the 5K: Join us on June 28, 2025, at Sokolowski’s Overlook in Cleveland, OH, for the 5K Run/Walk and celebrate your achievement.
